Not even close. Lawmakers are still trying to work out a compromise on the omnibus lottery scholarship bill and the budget. There is some movement on the lottery scholarships, but both sides are unwilling to talk to the media about the details of the talks. Both Rep. Les Winningham and Sen. Jamie Woodson spoke in generalities, not specifics.
MMA passed the Senate with an amendment, it now goes back to the House.
